Hi sweet friends! I’m Elisa John, a teenager who’s passionate about teaching girls to embrace their eternal worth, purpose, and identity in Christ. Rather than focusing on temporary accomplishments, I believe that growing our relationship with Jesus is the most important action we can ever take.
Here’s a little bit about me: I live in South Texas with my family and loveable dog. I enjoy reading a good book, watching movies, playing soccer, and writing. In addition, I’m a Senior Girl Scout that’s currently working toward earning my Gold Award, the highest award a girl scout can earn. As I’ve strongly felt God calling me to share His love with others, for my project, I decided to create An Esther Generation.
Through my writing and speaking, I pray you will be equipped to experience Jesus more deeply than ever before and discover your unshakable identity found in His love. No matter who you are or where you’ve been, God has an incredible plan in store for you. Your royal inheritance is one that no one can ever take away.
Why Esther?
Ever since I was young, the story of Esther always captivated me. Although Esther faced countless hardships, her courage, humility, and strength allowed her to stand firm in the face of adversity. Most importantly, what makes Esther’s story so extraordinary is not what she accomplished but how her actions pointed to God’s everlasting faithfulness. While modern-day society is significantly different from Esther’s time period, her beautiful journey is still crucial to determining our worth today. Although we may be young, God calls us to rise up in the spirit of Esther so that we can create an eternal impact for His glory. When we become the young women that Christ created us to be, our world is transformed forever.
